Sisu Lange and Rowan Tanguay - two first year students at the college who came here for Nordic - spoke about their experience coming from a different background and a different state. Tanguay is the sister of Bobcat All-American Dolcie Tanguay and Lange is a top-rated skier from Vermont.
"Through the 90 miler I got to see a whole new side of the Adirondacks that I think a lot of people don't get to experience, and while I was in constant pain, it was incredible to witness," recalled Lange.
The race covers 90 miles of pristine Adirondack lakes and rivers from Old Forge to Saranac Lake from Friday to Sunday in early September ever year, testing paddlers' endurance, skill, and teamwork over the challenging course.
