PSC Bobcat XC Fared well at 40th Annual Cardinal Classic at SUNY Plattsburgh
Wes Burkit and Logan Krahl paced the Bobca5 teams in the women's 5K and the men's 6K on Saturday at the SUNY Plattsburgh's 40th Annual Cardinal Classic.

Wes Burkit showed no signs of freshman jitters as he finished the SUNY Plattsburgh's 40th Anniversary of the Cardinal Classic 5K in 21:31 to pace the Paul Smith's College women's team with an 11th place finish. Ellen Haas was the second Bobcat across the finish line in 23:36, followed by Melody Ascioti in 26:36 and Ellie Judice in 28:29.
Two PSC soccer players, Logan Krahl and Alex Cameron made the transition to collegiate Cross Country and they led the PSC men to a fifth place team finish with times of 24:26 and 25:04 respectively in the Cardinal Classic 6K event. The top five scoring Bobcats included Nathan Shader in 26:52, Ian Montgomery – Gehrt in 27:12, and Dermot O'Connor in 27:17.
The Bobcats are traveling to Vermont Tech on Saturday to face nearly a dozen colleges and universities, including all the YSCC schools who will be on hand to compete on the 2022 YSCC Championship course.
