Soderholm sets PSC Collegiate 5K record at SUNY Plattsburgh, pacing the XC team to a 4th place team finish
Eliot Soderholm (JR: Reston, VA) set a men's 5K record with a 5th place finish in 16:01 at the 43rd edition of the SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinal Classic, pacing the Bobcats to a 4th place team finish.

Men's 8K: Eliot Soderholm (JR: Reston, VA) established a new Paul Smith's College Men's 5K Collegiate record with a time of 16:01 and placed fifth in the Cardinal Classic. Soderholm paced the Bobcats to a 4th place team finish.
Bryce Shannon (FY: Port Jervis HS/Sparrow Bush, NY) was the second finisher from the Bobcats, placing 45th overall in 18:00. Matt Matis finished in 19:41 to place 60th, and Brock Boissey (FY: Saranac HS/Cadyville, NY) finished in 20:05 to place 61st. Tim James FY: Minuteman Regional HS/Lancaster, MA) finished in 21:26 to round out the scoring five runners for Paul Smith's.
Women's 5K: Joanna Kershner (Berks Catholic/Reading, PA) paced the women's team in the 43rd annual Cardinal Classic over the 5K course with a time of 24:16. Chloe Freund (Clinton HS/Clinton, NY) was the second Bobcat to finish, after pacing the women's team for over the first half of the race finishing close behind in 24:27. Brooklynn Shumway (Saranac Lake HS/Bloomingdale, NY) finished in 25:22 in 36th place. This trio of returning runners were all faster on the SUNY Plattsburgh course this year over a year ago.
Madison Cheney (Prattsburgh HS/Finger Lakes CC) finished in 28:06, followed by Madi Kirn (Columbus, OH/Northlands College) in 31:53.
