Porreca and Reynolds Shoot Low Scores at UMA Invitational
Litchfield, ME ~ The Paul Smith's College Golf Team traveled to Litchfield, ME over the weekend to compete in University at Maine - Augusta (UMA) Invitational held at The Meadows Golf Club.
Sophomores Nick Porreca (Queensbury, NY) and Sam Reynolds (Potsdam, NY) led the Bobcats with low rounds of 91. Gabe Clark (Ogdensburg, NY) was next with 102, followed by Zach Hale (East Burke, VT) with 103 and team captain Owen Kime (Waterloo, NY) with 106.
The team finished in third place with a combined score of 372 behind tourney winner Southern Maine CC (324) and second-place UMA (329).
The team travels to Portland, ME this coming weekend to compete in the SMCC Invitational at Purpoodock Country Club in South Portland, ME.
