Woodsmen bring home "Jack and Jill" Championship at the 70th Annual Spring Meet
PSC Woodsmen win "Jack and Jill" championship and place 2nd in both Men's and Women's.
The PSC Woodsmen's Team just returned from Alfred State College, the site of the 70th Annual Spring Meet Woodsmen's Conclave. The event drew 34 teams from the eastern U.S. The coed "Jack & Jill" Paul Smith's team won in their division, returning the Jack & Jill conclave trophy to Paul Smith's. The PSC Men, who were defending champions ended up finishing 2nd, to host school Alfred State College, who they had defeated two weeks earlier. The Paul Smith's Women were defeated by 1.4 points out of 1900 points- the closest points spread in the history of the event. Collectively, Paul Smith's took over a dozen individual trophies, including the coveted chopping events.
The 71st Annual Spring Meet Conclave will be hosted at Paul Smith's College April 21 &22, 2017.
